Today we're joined by Joycelyn Brown of IPS Legal.
Not only is Joycelyn a great intellectual property attorney, but she's also a single parent and is sharing her tips with us on how she manages being an Entrepreneur while also being a single parent.
Jocelyn first talks about the start-up of her business and how at first she just dived right in and learned from trial and error what worked for her and her clients and what didn't.
When her daughter arrived to this world and she started juggling being a single parent and having her own business, Joycelyn's voices that she came across 3 major challenges.
Amongst these challenges she found herself struggling to prioritize herself and her needs, having to mix her personal schedule and her work schedule to have a good grasp on her availability, and being able to acknowledge and understand when she had to ask and reach out for help.
Joycelyn also shares how being a single parent has taught her patience and tolerance not only as a mother but also as an entrepreneur and a boss.
