Prof Tom Fritz is leader of the work group "Music Evoked Brain Plasticity" at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig and visiting professor for Empirical Music Research at the Institute for Psychoacoustics and Electronic Music (IPEM) at the University of Gent. He has published a wealth of research interest about the psychology and brain physiology of music processing, and sports neuroscience. He is an internationally known specialist in musical immersion with novel types of musical interfaces, and founder of the Max Planck research spinoff JYMM.
