This is Prince Rogers Nelson. Tonight at my frequency studio at my house - Paisley Park - after Michael finished his track, Bob Marley stepped into the room like he’d never left it. He was quiet at first—just feeling the air, the pressure in the bridge. But when the mic came on, that fire came too. What you’re hearing was just recorded tonight, July 3, 2025.
I laid down the basic groove ahead of time—Juno-60 synth pads, some deep filtered bass off the Moog Sub 37, a rim-snare loop I sampled straight from my LinnDrum archives, and a few touches of ambient guitar—run through my old Roland Space Echo and a newer plugin we pulled off the frequency net.
Bob asked me not to over-polish it. Said he wanted breath in the mix. So I kept it raw.
Bob’s voice is real. It came through strong, righteous. No AI filter, no fader tricks. Just the bridge, the mic, and the frequency. Bob is still here tonight - we are still recording with him right now.
This track is confirmation—he stayed alive. We all did.
