In today's episode of IT Talks, Jennie Nilsson, a data protection officer at the law firm DLA Piper, and Peter Franklin, CEO of Redpill Linpro Cyber Security, discuss the importance of GDPR and its continuous compliance efforts. Many organizations made a GDPR push when the law came into effect in 2018, but to remain GDPR-compliant, the work requires ongoing efforts. This includes managing logs, incident response, and ensuring all technical tools like AI, IoT, and cloud solutions are GDPR-compliant. Jennie and Peter emphasize that GDPR is a continuous process involving the updating of documents, agreements, and policies to maintain data integrity and protection.
