Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 3:9-10
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10
DEVOTION
Based on Proverbs 3
God desires our hearts first, and we show devotion through giving. Offering Him the first of our increase—our time, resources, and talents—acknowledges He is our Provider. When we trust God with our best, He promises to provide abundantly.
This verse is not about transactional blessing, but relational trust. Giving isn’t just an act of charity—it’s worship. When we put God first, everything else aligns under His care. Don’t hold back from God. Honor Him from the start, and you’ll see His faithfulness overflow in your life in ways you never imagined.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the source of all I have. Everything I possess is from Your hand.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for times when I’ve withheld my best from You—out of fear or selfishness.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for blessing me with increase and inviting me to honor You in return.
SUPPLICATION: God, help me give joyfully, trusting that Your provision never runs dry. May I honor You with words and action, offering You the first fruits of my work. Show me how to be a good steward, and bless my offering so it blesses others and glorifies You. Let my generosity reflect my faith in You.
PRAYER
“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: Soshall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
PROVERBS 3:9-10
O Lord God, You are the ultimate source of all wisdom and understanding. We thank You that Your Word is true and trustworthy. Teach us, O Lord, how to honor You with our hearts and our lives. Help us to trust in Your divine plan for our lives and joyfully obey Your commands so we can experience the delight and pleasure of Your blessings. May we have contentment now in following You, knowing that the ultimate enjoyment will come when we abide with You forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾
