DEVOTION

David’s words echo the experience of many who’ve faced despair. What kept him going wasn’t the absence of pain, but the hope that God’s goodness would show up in his life. This verse speaks to anyone who’s ever felt like giving up. Faith sustains us not just with the promise of heaven, but with the expectation that we will see God move here and now.
If you feel weary, hold on. God is not done writing your story. Believe to see His goodness in your life—even in this season. Let hope rise again. The living God is still at work in the land of the living.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are good and faithful. Your kindness fills the earth and gives me reason to hope.
CONFESSION: I confess I’ve doubted You when I couldn’t see a way forward. I’ve let discouragement speak louder than Your promises.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for sustaining me through seasons of difficulty. Thank You for reminding me that Your goodness isn’t far off—it’s present and real.
SUPPLICATION: God, strengthen my faith when I feel faint. Let me see Your hand even in challenging moments. Open my eyes to Your kindness and remind me that Your plans are good. Help me wait with expectancy, knowing You never abandon those who trust You.

Dear Lord, You are my joy and delight! I am glad when I think of how blessed it is to be living in Your presence. The beauty of the world around me reminds me of Your majesty and magnificence. How wonderful it is to enjoy life with You, Lord. Your unfailing love sustains me and gives me strength when I am weak. I can come to You for refuge and assurance that my future is in Your hands. Thank you for being the God of hope and faithfulness as I journey through this life. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🙏🏾
