Where Heart & Mind Meet (Way 43)
Manage episode 484882168 series 2859547
In this episode of the Jewish Inspiration Podcast (Ep. #175), Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe talks about Way 43: Maamido Al Ha'SHalom - Settle your Heart in your Studies, and shares wisdom, insights, stories and lessons from the teaching of our sages about taking what we learn and putting it into action and living by what we preach and know is the right thing to do. It's easy to pontificate and lecture the world on the "proper" way to live life ... but do we live life in that way? This way teaches us to put it into practice.
During the 49 days we count between Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot we celebrate and focus on this exciting time for powerful and impactful change. The Mishna (Avot 6:6) teaches us 48 masterful tools and ways to maximize life and get the most out of each day. This podcast was recorded during the 48 ways series during those 49 days.
