When I think of a marine ecologist, or a marine biologist, I imagine someone working in nature, scuba diving in search of the most remote marine species, understanding the way the oceans work, and how to save endangered marine life. I imagine them far away from the bustling city life, and away from stress. Is is the truth? Or is it a myth?
I invited Ashlee Lillis to speak about her job as a Marine Ecologist and what it entails.
Ashlee has an organisation called Sound Ocean Science. She works in marine systems around the world, with local partners, to carry out exciting collaborative projects.
This is Job Tales and I am Laura Leoncini. Enjoy the episode.
