This is why God's word in 1 Peter 5:8 urges us to be vigilant, as the evil one prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Joseph points out that resisting the devil through God's word is essential to avoid encounters with angels of light. He goes on to describe witchcraft as an unauthorized entry into the realm of the supernatural.

Furthermore, he references 1 Samuel 15:22-23 to illustrate that rebellion is akin to the sin of witchcraft, representing an unauthorized use of authority or actions that one is not allowed to perform, as well as venturing into spaces where one does not belong. Joseph emphasizes that false encounters are created by the imaginations of misguided individuals who seek the experience more than the truth. He urges us to refrain from all forms of evil, to follow the teachings of Jesus closely, and to strive to win souls for His kingdom.
