For middle school, I attended Brenda Scott Academy for Theatre Arts. It wasn't really a performing arts school considering we only had one acting class. This school is what I call "The Battleground," because of the history that it had at the time. For entertainment, students found it hilarious to start food fights. This particular food fight was probably the most violent of them all. But how exactly did I get out of this one?

On October 15th, 2011, the most violent food fight broke out in the cafeteria. Food was flying, drinks were thrown and everyone was hollering and screaming. How exactly did I manage to survive this food fight? Grab some popcorn, wine, and your headphones and dive deep into this comedic story.

Julian's Archives is a comedic storytelling podcast that reflects on my life growing up in my hometown, Detroit, using the power of digital storytelling. Request to be a guest on my podcast, I'm more than welcome to listen to other people's stories. New episode every Saturday!
