The Trump administration has ordered some 20,000 workers in Health and Human Services to leave their jobs, and has cut billions of dollars for research from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. To protest, a coalition of unions called for a nationwide Day of Action on April 8 to Kill the Cuts. Unions representing researchers at UCSB rallied at Davidson Library and marched to Cheadle Hall.
