Are you happy with how you face life's problems? Do you react with anxiety and worry more often that you'd like? Before you get too hard on yourself, let's take a look at the brain to discover just what happens when something unexpected and difficult comes its way. In this episode I explore some basic neurobiology giving you insight into how the brain reacts to problems and the unexpected. When you understand more of how your brain works, what it seeks and how it regards obstacles you'll be much more effective at making it your ally when facing hardship and uncertainty. Next week I'll get into solutions to start generating calm, focus and confidence but first let's get inside our heads to learn just what happens when we get stressed out.
