Monsters of the Multiverse describes Qilin as “noble, celestial creatures. In the Outer Planes, Qilin in service to benevolent deities take a direct role in the eternal struggle between good and evil. In the mortal world, Qilin are celebrated far and wide as harbingers of destiny, guardians of the sacred, and counterbalances to the forces of evil.

We are joined by ⁠Connie Chang⁠.

Connie is a queer and trans Chinese-American Game Master and Narrative Designer. They are the GM and Creative Producer for Transplanar RPG, an all-transgender, people of color-led dark fantasy TTRPG show set in an original, non-colonial, anti-orientalist multiverse. They are also the writer behind GODKILLER, an original holypunk duet Powered by the Apocalypse game for one player (the Godkiller), and one GM (God). Connie is passionate about threading queer drama with black-hearted apocalyptica and their own diasporic Chinese background.
