363: The Strange Murder of Livye Lewis
Manage episode 469658700 series 2614097
Early in the morning of Halloween 2020, a driver called 911 after finding 19-year-old Livye Lewis unresponsive in the driver’s seat of her vehicle on the side of a rural road in Hemphill, Texas. The high school valedictorian was dead from a single gunshot wound to the neck. Her loved ones immediately knew who’d killed her: her ex-boyfriend Matthew Edgar. But Matthew claimed to remember nothing about the night, let alone having murdered his ex-girlfriend, whom he claimed to love. Was he lying, or was someone else responsible for Lyvie’s death?
