Your host, Eric Dunavant, talks with the President of Pearson Air Construction, Stacey Pearson. Stacey's story is one of unexpected leadership. Despite initial plans to steer clear of the family business, life had other plans, and she found herself at the helm of Pearson Air during a tumultuous economic climate. She opened up about the daunting challenges she faced and how she channeled her efforts into fostering a robust company culture. Stacey recounted the origins of the Greg Pearson Foundation, established in memory of her brother Greg, who valiantly fought a brain tumor for over a decade. The foundation's mission is to alleviate the financial burdens of those grappling with cancer and other serious illnesses. Stacey shared touching anecdotes, including the story of a beneficiary who, thanks to the foundation, overcame language barriers and received crucial support. Another inspiring tale was of a young girl who, with the foundation's help, overcame her struggles to become a successful Division I soccer goalie.
