Ian Fleming, the creator of the iconic James Bond series, was born on May 28, 1908, in London, England. A man of diverse talents, Fleming served as a naval intelligence officer during World War II, where his experiences heavily influenced his writing. In 1953, he introduced the world to the suave and daring secret agent James Bond with his first novel, Casino Royale.
