36% of all businesses run in Canada are run by immigrants, and those in the 40,000 to 50,000 dollar bracket, do not have to pay a salary tax. On this episode of Know Your Kanoon, Ambar talks to Somas, who handles Project Management at the Region Market Development in Canada, and Devavrat, who is the Manager Operations, Maharashtra Regional Council at ICBC and Associate Director, ICBC Youth Wing. Somas talks about being a transit guy since childhood, how he started working in Dubai and later moved to Canada, and says the best part about being in Canada is that each state has government touchpoints and they can approach any official at any time. Amber also asks Somas about how he went about his work in Canada, what his struggles were like. They also chat about taxes, jobs and much more.
