John Chan is an entrepreneur with a passion for user experience design and a wide range of interests that make him a true polymath. At the young age of 19, John dropped out of university to start his own web design consultancy, which led him to work for companies like UBC and Basecamp before fully transitioning into entrepreneurship.
Throughout his career, John has started three businesses, each showcasing his diverse skillset and experience. His latest venture, 2x Growth Agency, is a digital marketing agency that specializes in helping e-commerce and DTC brands grow and scale with paid ads and ad creative development.
Despite his busy schedule as an entrepreneur, John also invests in rental estate with a portfolio of four properties, having sold three. He's a black belt in Taekwondo and has been training in the sport since he was six years old, representing Team Canada three times internationally.2x Growth Agency, under John's leadership, has managed over $6M of ad spend and helped generate over $30M in revenue for their clients. With his unique blend of entrepreneurial skills, digital marketing expertise, and athletic achievements, John Chan is an inspiring and dynamic speaker for any event or podcast.
