Ocean City Council has killed a measure that would have allowed Gillian's Wonderland Pier to be redeveloped into a hotel. Now, the owner says he plans to sell the property. Council members voted Thursday night 6-1 against a plan that would have named the former theme park an area in need of rehabilitation that could have allowed Icona Resorts to build a 252-room hotel on the site.
