According to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, police were notified of a man with a gun walking along North High Street, where the rally was taking place. Officers stopped and searched the man and found a gun on him. Officials said the suspect does not have a concealed carry permit. Video of the arrest circulated on social media. Two Philadelphia men have been convicted of stealing a FedEx truck three years ago because it was carrying a package that had cocaine inside. Prosecutors say 37-year-old Ronald Byrd and 32-year-old Saikeen Dixon targeted a FedEx driver who was delivering packages to Temple University Hospital in August 2022. The men asked the driver to surrender a specific package, offering $5,000, but the driver refused and called his supervisors for backup. The supervisors took the package in question, but Dixon and Byrd pursued the truck as it continued deliveries and pulled a gun on the driver, demanding the same package. Byrd was convicted of carjacking the driver and taking the truck across the Grays Ferry Bridge while Dixon followed.
