In this episode...
Dean Katheleen Guzman, Interim Dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Law discusses the requirements for validating a will.
Some key takeaways...

  1. Many jurisdictions have relaxed the strict common law requirements for wills
  2. Holographic comes from Holo (whole) and graphic (written) so the holographic will is a will that is handwritten.
  3. Many states accept holographic wills as proof of the testator's intent.
