In this week’s episode Hannah and Ali talk all things relationships. Although they both have plenty of lived experience navigating the ups and downs of dating, they knew they had to bring in an actual expert to answer all your questions about navigating eating disorders, disordered eating and relationships. Megan Bruneau is a therapist, coach, writer and public speaker who uses her lived experience with an eating disorder, depression and the trials and tribulations of dating to connect with her clients and specifically relate to these listener questions. Should you compliment your partner on their body if you know they struggle with their body image? What if your partner eats different foods at totally different times than you? What’s a revenge bod and is there any danger in this mentality after a break up? How do you navigate betrayal if your usual coping mechanism is exercise and healthy eating? The world of dating is confusing enough but when you’re also working on healing your relationship with food and your body it can be hard to know where to begin. This week Hannah, Ali and Megan get real about dating with disordered eating and how to navigate your recovery while building happy, healthy relationships. This episode is sure to help you swipe left on all things diet culture and right on the relationships you deserve!
