This week on Let's Get Lost, Kip, Amanda, and Theresa dive into Lost Season 3, Episode 10 – Tricia Tanaka Is Dead. This Hurley-centric episode brings a mix of comedy and heartbreak as we follow his struggle with bad luck, the extremely shocking loss of Tricia Tanaka, and his determination to change his fate—starting with fixing up a mysterious DHARMA van in the jungle.

Kip absolutely loved this episode, Amanda wasn’t quite feeling the emotional connection, and Theresa shares that she thought it was good, but not great for her. We break down Hurley’s flashbacks, his father’s sudden return after years away, and whether his motivations are genuine—or just about the lottery money. We also discuss the heartwarming island story line, where Hurley, Jin, Charlie, and Sawyer team up to get the van running, leading to one of the show’s most joyful moments.

Theresa delivers some of her best Jack-as-Gollum impressions, and we have plenty of laughs along the way. We debate what really makes a filler episode a filler episode, and as always, we rank the characters, and rate the episode out of ten.

It’s fun, it’s serious, and it’s all about Lost!
