Dr Jacyntha Khera is an Anaesthetic and ITU Doctor who lives and works in London. Early in her training, she experienced the death of two close family members within months of each other. Amile sits down with Jacyntha to discuss the ways in which she dealt with her grief whilst working. They explore her personal journey and how she's learnt to take off her ever-present 'doctor hat' in the process. She encourages clinicians to put themselves first & also acknowledge the reality of death in their lives. They also touch on organ donation, CPR and the taboo around these topics.
