Gabe Saporta is a musician best known as the charismatic frontman of the pop-punk band Midtown and later the dance-pop group Cobra Starship. Midtown, formed in the late 1990s in New Jersey, made a mark in the emo and punk scenes with energetic albums like Save the World, Lose the Girl. After Midtown disbanded, Saporta reinvented himself by founding Cobra Starship in 2005, blending pop, dance, and punk influences into a bold, party-ready sound. The band gained mainstream success with hits like “Good Girls Go Bad” featuring Leighton Meester and became a staple of the late-2000s alternative pop scene before disbanding in 2015. Known for his witty lyrics, bold style, and knack for genre-hopping, Gabe Saporta remains a memorable figure in alternative and pop culture.
