In Episode 2.3, the release of political prisoners from the gulags of Siberia and rumours of an explosive speech by Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev, denouncing Stalin, indicate a change in direction for the Soviet Union. It’s 1956, an election year in the US, and CIA chief Allen Dulles is tasked by President Eisenhower to get that speech.
