As with every week, there's a lot going on in the gaming industry. Once again we address the ongoing problems with inequality and sexual harassment/rape and provide our firm stance in the matter, which brings us Marcus's brand new catch-phrase, which I can't put here or else the episode may get removed from Apple!
And if that news wasn't bad enough, we found out that the streaming platform we had a lot of hope in, Mixer, is shutting down and is diverting to Facebook Gaming. Can't say we're happy about any of the fallout of this. There are displaced streamers, and employees, all while the top guys either got a healthy payout from Mixer, or were offered a nice fat contract from Zuckerberg. Not to mention this isn't a good look for Microsoft on the same year they're trying to release a new flagship gaming console, the Xbox Series X.
Oh and a lot of other stuff happened too, like the announcement of Skate 4, Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners anime, Pokemon Unite (Pokedota/Pokemoba), a new Animal Crossing Update, and a whole lot more. You even get to learn about a certain pizza restaurant filing for bankruptcy and Marcus's Disney contraband!
