Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca’s Insight Track. In this 'Off Track' edition, inspired by my conversation with the multi award winning artist Tania Kassis, beyond just inspiring songwriters, I discuss the important role that pain and facing adversity plays in our life, why talent is no longer the most important aspect for success, and why being fully independent is not what’s cracked up to be.
As a singer, Tania has consistently used her voice for good, inspiring social unity and trying to break down cultural and religious barriers. Unlike others, her focus was not to jump on trends to further her career, but to remain true to her identity - something we can all learn from. Beyond the poor state of the music industry, we discussed how perseverance and personality trumps talent when it comes to delivering success. Her success has centered on using real-life issues to inspire better songwriting and to achieve her ultimate ambition of independence. Whilst I disagree that independence is everything, I’m a firm believer that we can all use painful situations as an opportunity to learn and heal previous traumas, to help ensure we all can make a better song of our lives.
In this unfiltered and improvised episode, I share my personal insights that continue to shape who I am - If you’re looking to listen to a raw and honest conversation on different subjects, ‘Off Track’ is the place for you.
