The Cincinnati Reds were overpowered by the Cleveland Guardians in an 11-2 loss Wednesday afternoon at Progressive Field. Reds starter Nick Lodolo struggled, lasting just 3.1 innings and surrendering six earned runs. Offensively, Cincinnati showed flashes of power with solo home runs from TJ Friedl and Elly De La Cruz, but couldn't generate sustained momentum. The defeat snaps their five-game winning streak and sends them into Thursday’s off-day looking to regroup. They’ll head to Detroit on Friday to face the MLB-leading Tigers in a tough weekend matchup.
