In our second episode, we talked with Will Sartain of Sartain & Saunders; Will has over 20 years of experience in the SLC entertainment industry, working his way up from an employee of Kilby Court to owning three venues in the city and a restaurant. Sartain & Saunders has worked with promoters for artists such as Macklemore, St. Vincent, and Death Cab for Cutie among others. Will discusses what it has been like being a venue owner in this highly volatile economy, and what their plans are for reopening.
