LS Community Church live Sunday gathering, October 27; teaching by Stan Rodda.

Genesis 12:1-6, 13:14-18, 15:1-6, 15:8-21, 17:15-17, 18:10-15,

21:1-2

We began with creation. Genesis, which means "origin," tells us the beginning of things. God is the source of all life. He is the Creator of all things. By faith we believe this. But with that creation also came a choice. God loves humanity and love requires a choice. Humanity chose to go their own way and brought sin and death into the world. This decision breaks the communion we had with God. And now the plot is obvious; God's pursuit of His creation to reconcile them is underway. And after the flood, humanity begins to repopulate the earth. And God's pursuit takes another step when He reaches out to a man named Abram. This is one of the parts of the Story where we're going to learn God's pursuit often feels upside down.
