TIME Magazine boasts a “person of the year” on the cover of their magazine annually.
It’s more than just an image of a person who has done some good deed. Rather, it’s someone of historic significance who will be remembered for a very long time.
When they put out their list of 100 most historically significant figures, the question became, “Who is the most significant person in history?” From the list of 100, names are instantly recognizable to us. Joan of Arc, Michelangelo, Socrates, Elvis Presley, Charlemagne, Thomas Edison, Aristotle and Abraham Lincoln. But who ranks #1? Who is seen as the most significant person in history?
One name dawns the top spot. And His name is Jesus.
This is the story of the most interesting man in the world. From His birth, an incredible
fulfillment of prophecies hundreds to thousands of years old. His ministry which focused on the marginalized and outcast in society. Life changing miracles. Heart transforming
compassion. Teachings and parables that challenged the heart and mind. Self-sacrifice that melted the hardest of hearts.
This is the story of God’s pinnacle moment in all human history as God in human form,
dies on a cross and rises from the dead. It is more than a story; it is the apex of all of human
history. And there’s nothing like the story of Jesus. He is the most interesting man in the
world.
In this series, we will cover Jesus’ birth, Jesus’ ministry, miracles, identity, Jesus’ death and resurrection.
