The technology environment for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is incredibly complex: 26 data centers, 18,000 users, 31,000 devices. Factor in 29 different nations speaking dozens of languages, and it’s easy to see how hard it could be to keep things running smoothly. And it’s not enough to just maintain a status quo – as technology evolves, and member nations needs change, NATO’s digital infrastructure has to adapt as well.

Dr. Gregory Edwards, Director of Infrastructure Services in the NATO Communications and Information Agency, helps provide the leadership that allows for both stability and flexibility. In this episode, Edwards explains how he fosters understanding, builds trust, and ultimately achieves consensus in the organization.
