×Americans Are Divided On AI Americans are divided on the implications of artificial intelligence. According to a recent Gallup poll, 49-percent of U.S. adults surveyed said AI is "just the latest in a long line of technological advancements that humans will learn to use to improve their lives and society." But the polling also found that the other 49-percent of respondents said AI is "very different from the technological advancements that came before, and threatens to harm humans and society." Marcus is totally down, I am being dragged kicking and screaming 🙂 Marcus Is On Four Hours Of Sleep There was a lice outbreak at Marcus' daughter's school. This was a first, so panic ensued. He was running around looking for medicinal shampoo. The best part was that Marcus was worried about himself. Trust me, I can see from here that he's fine. Marcus Basically Got Cat-Called By Construction Workers He passed a construction site and one of the guys commented that he looks like a young Tom Hanks. He was high for the rest of the day. Cat-calling, okay or not cool. Second Date Update: Reed met Sophie on Hinge. What stood out was their similar lifestyle choices. They were both into fitness and eating healthily. They went out for Vegan sushi. Why is she ghosting?…

How To Relieve Anxiety In Seconds Dr. Anita Phillips, a trauma therapist, says you can deal with anxiety in just seconds. The first exercise is called the "voo" technique. You take a deep breath in, then breathe out while making the sound "voo" for as long as your exhale lasts. The vibration you feel helps work anxiety out of your body. The second exercise is called tension release. You breathe in calmly, then as you breathe out, you tighten up your whole body. Then you breathe in again and relax everything. Making your body tense on purpose and then letting it go helps your mind feel more relaxed too. Phillips also suggests "shaking it out" while brushing your teeth - start by shaking your bottom, then let the shake move up through your whole body. See me perform these exercises on the IG. Happiest Shift Workers America’s most cheerful hourly employees are selling vapes, weed, and smokes, according to a new report. Over 1.51 million end-of-shift survey responses paint a less-than-ideal picture of the state of the union for wage workers. While the Net Happiness Score — the report’s metric for general workplace wellbeing — clocked in fairly high at 71.86%. The happiest industry sector turned out to be e-cigarette and marijuana stores, with 91.87% of employees saying they feel “good” or “amazing” about their jobs. They’re closely followed by caterers, baristas, dentists, and those who work in gyms, firearms stores, and sit-down restaurants. Successful Couples Do These 4 Things In The AM Couples should say hello to each other in the morning. That tells your partner "I see you. You're alive. I'm alive. I appreciate you." Second, successful couples make small loving gestures for each other. This might mean making coffee for your partner, putting out their robe, or setting up their breakfast bowl. Third, they spend a few minutes together in the morning, even if it's just having coffee. It reminds them that even when the day gets stressful, they need to make time for what really matters. Finally, successful couples include physical affection like a kiss or hug before leaving for work. This releases feel-good hormones like oxytocin, which strengthens their bond and makes them want to grow closer together. Second Date Update: Nate and Brianna met on Hinge. They went for tapas in Noe Valley. What made Brianna ghost after their eventful meal?…

My Girlfriend's Apartment Is Giving Me Anxiety How would you handle this? You want to move in with your girlfriend, but she has a ton of knick-knacks, plants and just plain stuff. He is a minimalist and feels like he couldn't move in with her if she didn't at least get rid of half of it. No Makeup On The First Date In general, Gen Z has trended towards skipping out on classic date nights like traditional dinners and drinks in favor of more adventurous, active ventures like ocean swims, yoga sessions, or rock climbing. These activities allow potential paramours to get to know each other without the pressure of sitting across from each other and talking for hours on end — though eventually, there comes a point in a relationship where this is necessary. The latest move to ease the tension and anxiety of a first date ? No makeup, a la Pamela Anderson. Both Millennials and Gen Zers have taken to the Internet to share their experiences with the movement, and overall, they’re psyched about their new looks, and the confidence boosts it can — potentially, as @ madisonoud pointed out — bring with it. (No thanks, Tom Hanks) Looking Good Vs Feeling Good Along the same vein, people are saying that feeling healthy makes them feel attractive. Exercising and eating well, give the confidence a boost. Let me guess, you should cut ut alcohol? Booooooo. Second Date Update Jordan and Elise met at a birthday party. They discover they love puzzles, so they go to an Escape Room for their first date. They did it in under an hour, but now she has ghosted.…

Americans Are Struggling To Get Off The Couch. Maybe it shouldn't be so comfy. Americans just aren’t as active as they used to be pre-pandemic, according to a new study. It finds that we’re still logging about six hours of sitting time today, the same as it was in 2021. It seems the technology we started using during lockdown, like Zoom meetings and delivery apps are to blame for us being so sedentary. Marcus Outed His Online Bot Girlfriend Marcus can't help but mess with telemarketers, spam calls, etc. So, when he got a pretty female DM'ing him he was all in. They messaged back and forth until he mentioned the word, "bot." Her account disappeared immediately. Lies Servers Tell To Get Better Tips Aislin Parker, a waitress in San Diego, recently shared the hack she counts on for extra cash during her shifts. In a TikTok video , she tells viewers that she added a baby photo to her baby book and tells customers she’s a single mom to encourage them to tip her more. I was completely floored and flattered. My besties threw me a surprise birthday party over the weekend. Between my girl, Kim, my husband "The Jeff" and Marcus, they were able to keep me in the dark. It was such an amazing moment. I feel so blessed. And for people that couldn't make it, they did a video montage. So sweet. Is It Going To Be A Good Or Bad Day? You will know within 10 minutes of getting up. More than one in three Americans (37%) can tell if their day will be good or bad within 10 minutes of waking up, a new survey finds. Mornings can be thrown off track when people forget to make fresh coffee or tea (38%), forget to brush their teeth (34%), don’t shower (25%) or don’t exercise (22%). Having a good day leads to having a good night of sleep for 68% and 70% say a good night of sleep leads to a good day. What do you think sets the tone for the day? Marcus Had The Worst Time At The Movies What do you do when someone won't stop talking...loudly...through the whole movie? He asked twice, by the third time he gave up. Do you get a movie usher or is that so 1987? Second Date Update: Lucas and Kendra met at a beach volunteer clean-up. They decide to meet for sushi a few days later. Now she has ghosted.…
Red Flags You Are Getting Scammed Between AI, texts, DM's...scams are around every corner. Emergency Overload: Scammers love to trigger your panic response with emergencies like“Your grandson’s in jail!” or “You owe the IRS!” and that’s because freaked-out people don’t ask questions. Too Fast, Too Furious: That “limited-time offer” or urgent request? It's likely a scam in disguise. Whether it’s fake tech support asking for authorization or a “can’t-miss” investment, scammers know pressure equals poor decisions. New Number Who This?: Just met someone who suddenly needs cash? Yikes. Badge of Deception: If an “officer,” “lawyer,” or “FBI agent” you’ve never met is suddenly in your business, it’s probably a con. They Ask You To Pay? You Say “No Way!”: If someone’s asking you to pay with a gift card, crypto, or Venmo for tech support or bail money, run. Tips To Make Yourself Instantly Likeable Image – Present yourself as a “person worth knowing” by looking clean, put together, wearing clothes that accentuate your positive vibes and intentions, and pay attention to the body language you’re emitting Authenticity – People can sniff out insincerity a mile away…and they’re way more attracted to someone who is authentic and the real deal Empathy – There aren’t enough people in this world willing to show they give a damn about more than themselves and their self-interest. Taking a genuine interest in others makes them feel special and cared about Positivity – We can all agree there’s too much negative crap out there, so don’t contribute to it…people flock to positivity Speak Like You Want To Lead – Stay away from slang and cursing, remember names, and don’t be afraid of sincere compliments Leave A Better World – Leave people smiling, and leave them laughing, inspired, and eager for their next experience with you What We Love About Summer This is according a survey of 2000 adults. The smell of a grill (87%) Spending time at the beach or lake (68%) Swimming in a pool (68%) Driving with the windows open or the top down on a car (58%) Going to fairs or festivals (52%) Staying up late at night (49%) The smell of sunscreen (45%) Chasing fireflies (24%) Second Date Update: Devon and Marissa met in real life waiting in line at a food truck. They exchange numbers and plan a first date at a bar hosting a trivia night. What could have gone wrong?…
Jacob & Maggie went for drinks and appetizers in Walnut Creek. They were only supposed to have drinks, but things were going so well...they ordered food. But now she has ghosted.

Phrases To Use To Avoid More Work: How do you think your boss would respond to these? “I'd love to help, but my plate is full right now” “Let me check my schedule and get back to you” “I don’t think I’m the best fit for this but I’d be happy to support you in another way” “Let me revisit this at a later date” “That’s outside my current scope, but I can help brainstorm ideas” “I’m stretched pretty thin right now. Can anyone else jump in?” “I’d hate to slow things down. Maybe someone else would be a better fit?” “This isn’t something I can take on right now, but let me know how I can help in another way” “If it’s urgent, you might want to check in with someone who’s available” “I’m not going to be able to take that on today” “I have other urgent priorities right now” Vow Of Silence Summer Gen Z women are swapping “hot-girl summer” for “vow-of-silence summer.” Instead of beach trips and dating apps, many are booking week-long stays at Catholic convents and monasteries, where they communicate only by writing notes or using simple hand signs. TikTok clips by early participants show peaceful gardens, structured prayer times, and long stretches of quiet that help them unplug from burnout, something researchers say hits about 250,000 Americans before age 30. The clips have sparked viral curiosity, filling guest lists months ahead and prompting jokes about an Airbnb-style app for convent beds. Commenters say the retreats feel like “therapy you can afford” and praise the nuns for welcoming visitors who just want stillness. Plus, the nuns are recruiting. Interesting Observations in Paris I forget how many people smoke in other countries...tons of smoking and vaping. It was really weird hear the Pirate of the Caribbean sing Yo ho, yo ho in French. No top sheets. Its the mattress cover and a duvet. Really stingy on ice and it was 98-degrees. Second Date Update: Christian and Anna met through mutual friends. He even picked her up for the date. Did he pull a move in the car she didn't like?…

Corey Pulled A Marcus On Vacation The heat was the only drawback; they were breaking records for the heat which slowed us down just a bit. So, when we were in Disney...my husband crashed. I wasn't going to waste our fast passes or the fireworks show. So, I went solo. I was so happy I didn't miss it. Wandering Off When Traveling A father on Facebook posed this question: For the first time, we’ve decided to put together a vacation for the entire family. Not only are my wife and kids going, but our parents, siblings and their families are all going. It sounded like a great idea, at first, but I soon learned that I was the only one that wanted to do things like hiking and scuba diving. Everyone else just wants to sit on the beach and drink. So, now I’m debating how much of a “family” guy I’m willing to be. After all, it’s my vacation, too, right? What’s a reasonable amount of time during a week to break off and do my thing without coming off as a total a-hole to the rest of the family? Jeff Isn't Built For Europe Well, Disneyland Paris. Every time he had pull a harness down on a ride, all I would hear is "owwwweeeee." He said he ducked on the darker roller coasters in fear of being decapitated. He was a trooper though. Second Date Update: Jeff and Heather had such a great first date that they ended up at her place for a little hot tubbing. Did Jeff do something in the tub to turn Heather off?…

How Do We Get The Jeff To Declutter? Corey's in-laws are coming in town on Saturday, and she is desperately trying to get the house in order. She has her areas maintained, but Jeff's stuff is everywhere. He has a million pairs of Nike shoes, his hot rod tires, a tire jack, miscellaneous stuff everywhere, etc. How does she approach the subject without treating him like a child? She doesn't want to feel like his mom. How Much Would You Spend For Peace & Quiet? According to the poll of 2-thousand U.S. adults, the average American would pay $2,521 for just one day of peace and quiet. Sure, that’s a huge amount of money, but parents would be willing to shell out even more - $1,147 more, on average. The average person only gets 9.5-hours a month to themselves. The biggest things standing are work (50%), family commitments (32%), financial constraints (24%), and social obligations (22%). But 13% admit they actually feel guilty when they finally get free time. More than half (53%) say they need more alone time than they’re getting now, and it turns out, they’re not above being dishonest to get it. More than a third (38%) confess they’ve lied to friends, family, or even their partner to get some time to themselves. “I’m not feeling well” is the most common lie told (54%), followed by “I have a lot of work to do” (40%), “I have a headache” (33%) and “I have an appointment” (33%). To have just a lazy morning to themselves, parents would pay an average of $325, and people would be willing to spend $339.80 just for one extra hour of sleep. Crazy Wedding Dress Mom Everyone knows that only the bride should wear white to a wedding. It seems one mother of the groom didn’t mind making this major faux pas when her son tied the knot, but she took it to the next level and showed up in a full bridal gown and veil to match. A now-viral Reddit post from someone claiming it happened at their cousin’s wedding. "Everything was going smoothly until the groom's mother walked into the hall in a full-length white gown. Lace sleeves. Sparkly belt. Veil," the guest writes. “She looked like she was about to walk down the aisle herself.” As you’d expect, everyone was shocked by her attire, even the bride and groom, and the mom reportedly told people it was “tradition” in their family for the mother of the groom to wear white. “To make things worse, the groom’s mom tried to stand next to the bride and groom during the vows, and even held the bride’s bouquet at one point,” the post explains. During the reception, the mother was introducing herself to people as “the first woman in his life.” Despite her mother-in-law’s fashion choice, the bride managed to remain calm and her new husband reportedly kept telling her, “I’m so sorry” over and over. Let’s just hope this mom let the newlyweds go on their honeymoon alone! Second Date Update: Amber calls us about Craig. She says they had a lovely meal together and now he's ghosting. Did she do something to his food?…

However, he asked to add a premium tequila. She was taken aback and clearly unhappy he was messing with this classic drink.
