Dr. Thomas-Durrell is an Assistant Professor; Coordinator of Music Education Program at the University of Dayton. She has taught music at all levels, she's an author, researcher and presenter with interests that include music education in social justice, LGBTQ issues in music education and African-American studies in music education. We talked about how she speaks life into her students, navigating college choices, her passion in discovering music, trusting the nudge and the cultural connection of music and cleaning. (IYKYK)
