In the last two lessons, I talked about two “mega-trends” that are fundamentally changing your life:
- The Acceleration Shock: The world is changing 2x faster every 10 years, which means that lifespan of companies are shrinking, and professionals risk falling behind to competition and getting automated out of jobs
- The Great Digitization: More and more people, things, processes are moving online, which means you’re now competing against the best in the world, instead of just the best in your local area
In other words, it’s become more urgent than ever to learn faster and better — so that you succeed in the new world we’re in now.
