In this powerful episode of Mind Your Own Karma, I welcome back returning guest and fellow adoptee Jean Widner, who is here to launch her groundbreaking new book: The Adoption Paradox. If you're an adoptee, part of the adoption triad, a therapist, or simply someone who wants to better understand the complex realities of adoption—this is a must-listen conversation.

Jean’s book is already being called the most importanteducational book about adoption since The Primal Wound, and it’s easy to see why. Through nearly 100 deeply honest interviews—with adoptees from all walks of life, birth and adoptive parents, therapists, and allies—The Adoption Paradox reveals the emotional truths, systemic issues, and lifelong impacts that the glossy adoption narrative often leaves out.

🔥 Pre-orders are open now, and if you act fast, you can get a personally signed paperback copy shipped directly from the author ahead of the official release around May 20, 2025. Don’t wait—this book will change lives and ignite conversations.
