Gary started today's show by talking to CBIA president and CEO Chris DiPentima, who called for lawmakers to prioritize affordability and economic growth as they shape the state’s next two-year budget.
Then newly sworn-in Republican State Senator for the 21st District Jason Perillo called in to talk about his special election win!
Finally, Red Jahncke joined the show, and told Gary that Gov. Ned Lamont is violating the fiscal guardrails, converting them from a regime of budgetary discipline into a slush fund to pay Connecticut state employees higher wages than in 48 other states and, secondarily, to fund a few priorities of progressive Democrats.
