Episode 42 - Thunderbolts*
This is going to be a fast-paced car ride home as we dive into Marvel Universe’s new Thunderbolts* action/drama/genre-bending movie. Tina finds herself confused and surprised that a superhero movie didn’t suck and could even make her cry. Stratis is all in starting from the pole vaulting-stretch limo scene, and he somehow manages to link it all back to the ancient Greeks. We both agree that this is what superhero movies should be. Stratis is amazed that they managed to make a superhero movie so much fun, even as it digs deep into emotional issues and personal journeys. Tina comes up with the best bumper sticker so far - I Love Loving Movies. If you join us in the car, we promise not to vault the Toyota into the sky on this week’s car ride home.
