What is Earthing? It's a Great Healing Modality for Multiple Sclerosis
Manage episode 492217623 series 3657764
Earthing or Grounding has the same meaning. I didn't know about this phenomena was until I was given a book called "Earthing—The most important discovery ever!" book by Ober, Sinatra, and Zucker.
Grounding, also known as earthing, is a therapeutic technique that involves direct physical contact with the Earth’s surface or connecting with nature to promote emotional and physical well-being. It is based on the idea that the Earth's natural electric charge can help stabilize the body's bioelectrical systems. Grounding can be practiced by walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil, lying on the ground, or using grounding tools like mats and sheets. The practice is often used to reduce stress and enhance mindfulness by reconnecting with the present moment.
Benefits of grounding include:
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved sleep quality
Decreased inflammation and pain
Enhanced mood and mental clarity
Better immune system function
Engaging in this often can help with MS symptoms. It helps reduce our inflammation and balances our all the systems in our body. Ground when you can outside and buy grounding products so that you can get the same benefits inside.
