The fires outside Los Angeles had brought tragedy and carnage. Everything stopped for the firefighters, medical teams, first responders, the support teams and those affected directly by the wildfires. It's awards season in LA. The 2025 Critics Choice Film and TV Awards were to take place in January just as the fires were raging.
