The White Lake Fire Authority Fire Chief, Pete McCarthy, is the embodiment of relentless service with a kind heart. Firefighter Pete, as he likes to be called, is a fine example of the diligence and cooperation that typifies municipal service in Muskegon County. After more than twenty years of service he is continually inventing new ways to do more with less and get better at what was great yesterday.
