EP 21: Your storm is coming to an end.
Manage episode 483768658 series 3627876
On today's episode, we are going to discuss how your storm is coming to an end. And in the midst of the storm, are you trusting God? Even though there is evidence that you have gone through a storm, I am reminded that even in the midst of the storm, the skies will clear up, the clouds will come out, and God's sunlight will shine through.
We can talk about Peter, who was able to walk on water in the midst of a storm, but got distracted and lost faith because of the winds and rain, causing Peter to start sinking when he took his eyes off Jesus Christ. So I want to encourage you to keep going; don't let fear and doubt keep you from moving forward in the midst of your storm. Always remember that God is with you, even in the midst of your storms, and that storms don't last forever; they always come to an end.
Remember, when we were kids, and if there was a storm, my mom or grandmother would say to turn everything off because God is speaking. How many of us are still attuned to the voice of God in the midst of life's turbulent storms? During this time, it is crucial to cultivate a deep sense of spiritual awareness and stay steadfastly focused on God.

Scripture: 'And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come, And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased." Matthew 14: 28-33
