Pursuit, Passion, Purpose, Promise; four words that have shaped Trinity, making him the man he is today. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Trinity grew up in church, coming from a family who shares a rich spiritual heritage of ministers, musicians and singers. It was upon this foundation Trinity was raised to know that God had a definite plan for his life; upon this foundation he dedicated his life to Christ, as his pursuit to discover and fulfill that plan began. As his quest for God’s purpose continued, all roads seemed to lead toward football. By age twelve, Trinity discovered he was gifted in that area. From the seventh grade through high school, he excelled on the field, resulting in a full scholarship to play Division 1 football for the University of Toledo, where he was the starting running back each year of his college career. Even after suffering a serious injury his junior year of college, Trinity left Toledo, ranking 3rd in the school’s history books for rushing yards. Surely this was his course; he believed continuing his football career as a professional athlete was his pathway to purpose. ESPN correspondents agreed; draft scouting reports confirmed; it was apparent, Trinity was NFL-bound. But suddenly, without warning, the door shut.
