In this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse, Brandon talks with Celia about her controlling narcissistic father. Celia shares her experiences growing up in a narcissistic family environment, marked by her father's transition from drug addiction to a fervent Christian faith, which led to further control and guilt within the family. Celia detailed her role as the scapegoat, her brother's golden child status, and the lack of support from her mother.

It's a story of fear, obligation, guilt, never being good enough, family dynamics, unconditional love, trust, shame, putdowns, scapegoats, alcoholism, intergenerational trauma, never being grateful enough, vindictiveness, jealousy, worshipping, religion as control, narcissist extensions, not being allowed to express or have needs, religious beliefs, control, and pattern breaking.
