Synapses: Tiny spaces between neuron cells where the cells communicate with each other and pass along information.

Neurotransmitter: Chemical messengers used to pass information from one neuron cell to another.

Neuroplasticity: The brain’s ability to form new or strengthen existing neuron connections. The brain can change and grow.
