In my spoiler free review of Neon Genesis Evangelion I'm gonna analyze what the series is all about, whether or not you should watch and more importantly how to watch it given it can be confusing for people to get into it without the proper knowledge of viewing order. Of course it should be noted that I owe this definitive watch order list to BlueDaTiger on Reddit who posted it and explained it. Be warned, this is not a light show to undertake as it features a lot of mental health, religious and philosophical themes in it and is definitely not your average Mecha vs Kaiju show! This is a rabbit hole that goes far deeper than you might think and will be taxing on you. So please, if you are struggling with any mental health issues skip this show as it may have negative effects on your psyche.
