The Nested Realms are three concentric worlds, each unaware of the others, yet bound by the growth of a colossal tree.
In the Seedrealm, a microscopic kingdom within a single seed, the tiny Sylvans live in harmony with their world, worshipping the seed’s core as the Worldheart. When the seed begins to sprout, tremors, called the Breaking, threaten their fragile existence. Among them, Kora, a curious outcast, discovers ancient texts hinting at realms beyond. Through the seed’s roots, she communicates with the Cradlelands, inadvertently altering their fate.
The Cradlelands, a sprawling kingdom of mountains, forests, and rivers, is home to the Terrans, who worship the tree as the divine Rooted God. As the tree grows, its roots disrupt their land, causing floods and chaos. The Terrans are divided—some see the tree as prophecy fulfilled, others as a destructive force. Eryon, a botanist, believes the whispers he hears in the roots are spirits of the tree, unaware they come from Kora.
Above, the Celestial Dominion—a vast, cosmic realm of stars and immortal Astral Guardians—encompasses both inner kingdoms. The Guardians, forbidden from interfering, face a crisis as the tree’s growth threatens to pierce their celestial shell, unraveling their world. Some advocate destroying the tree, while others argue for its preservation.
As the realms converge, their fates intertwine. The tree’s relentless growth forces each kingdom to confront the limits of their understanding, revealing the fragile connections that bind them. Kora, Eryon, and the Guardians must navigate their roles in a story of creation, destruction, and the unyielding power of a tree that refuses to be contained.
