Dr. Dennis Owens obtained his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at William Jewell College, attended medical school at The University of Kansas, and completed his Ph. D. in Molecular Biology at Washington University. He has previously served as a Medical Director of Substance Use, Eating Disorder, and Adolescent clinic programs and was the President and Co-Founder of the Midwest Psychiatric Research Group. He is currently an Associate Professor and Director of the Clinical Trials Division and Comprehensive Depression Assessment and Treatment Center at The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, KS.
