Louisiana is seeing thousands of residents leave for other states, and it’s not just by chance. Texas and Florida are attracting people with low taxes, smarter spending, and better opportunities, leaving Louisiana trailing behind. Much of this exodus can be traced to outdated tax policies, high government spending, and a lack of real reform. The good news? With the right steps, like true tax reform and sensible spending limits, Louisiana can compete and keep its best and brightest at home.
